Our two week stay at Villa Dundar in the kind hospitality of Erdem and his family was a very memorable one. The nearby Kas is a picturesque town with plenty to do; we visited the small amphitheatre on the outskirts of town, scuba dived the reefs, enjoyed a Turkish bath, strolled around the myriad of streets and their traditional shops and excellent restaurants. The jewels of Kas, however, are the boat trips. We went to the castle ruins at Kekova, with their eerie tombs, and we also enjoyed a trip to the sunken city which we viewed through a glass bottomed boat. We did miss out on the trip to the nearby Greek island; maybe we'll do that next time we stay! All of this we enjoyed, whilst in the knowledge that every night we would return to the stunning villa, with its amazing views of the harbour and Kas. The adjoining pool is great for relaxing by, and having a barbeque one day by the pool was one of the highlights of our stay. The hospitality of Erdem and his family was fantastic, we were made to feel most welcome, and the family will make every effort to assist you with information concerning local places of interest, which boat trips are the best, and where to get the best kebab or pide!
